They even cheat on handsome, yet hunky men like David Cook, Jason Statham, Dean Sheremet, Nick Lachey, Cris Judd, Guy Ritchie, Todd Palin, etc., according to this site:

http://cuckoldcollection.blogspot.com

Of course, Angelina Jolie's been cheating on Brad Pitt and he strikes back at her by doing the same thing.

I mean, beautiful women are oversexed, serial maneaters, according to a current study, while handsome men are not that much of a worry, because they can't get laid that much. But then men bite back at women who cheat by doing the same thing she's doing to him in the beginning. Look at Larry King, David Arquette (Courtney Cox cheated on him in the beginning.), Tony Parker (Eva Longoria had an affair with Lance Armstrong in the beginning.), K-Fed, Tori Spelling, and Liz Hurley's husbands. They justified for their actions.

Also, when famous beautiful women cheat, like Kate Hudson, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, or LeAnn Rimes, for example, they receive a lot of unfair media and social treatment, especially in North America, which is stupid and are never forgiven.

Oscar: really? you believe "Most people don’t cheat because they are scared of the consequences of getting caught..." that's a sad spin, indeed.

I'm with Laura on this one. I don't cheat because I value and respect whomever I'm in a relationship with - respect them enough to end the relationship if I feel my best option is to stray. Not because I'm afraid of getting caught. And, to explore that point further, I'd posit that cheaters WANT to get caught because they don't have the courage (or integrity) to end their current relationship.

Nice one Laura!

Not a real shock! Beautiful men and woman cheat because they have many options and temptations with little to loose...Most people don't cheat because they are scared of the consequences of getting caught versus the morality issue- I guess choosing your next conquest from the next ten in line is not a scary consequence...

Ummm. I didn't know beautiful women "loved to cheat"!?
and was that remark about Marilyn and Liz having their shit together sarcastic? LOL.... I hope so!

I think if you "love to cheat"... its because you aren't happy in your relationship! Otherwise, you shouldn't be in one thats so serious its considered cheating!

it's good to know why i such a slut all those years, i thought i just liked sex.

S. Faludi has a great section about how mainstream media became the scientific reporters of trends starting in the '80s in her book 'Backlash'.
Her first example is the 'man shortage'.
never was one. but it was great for getting those hot tarts married up and back in the kitchen where they belong.
