After 7 years of marriage things started going south fast!!! We started growing apart, focusing too much time on everything else but our relationship. It got pretty bad. I don’t think I can continue in a relationship with someone who cheats on me, but then I’ve never been placed in that situation (to my knowledge). I agree with most of what you’ve said, though. And your reaction was identical to mine when I saw that photo of Spitzer’s wife standing next to him looking so shell-shocked. All I could think was that he was a right bastard for putting her through that on top of everything else. Argh.
